On June 2, 2018, the Triumphant Tabernacle of Seventh-Day Adventists recognized the community outreach work of the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health with awards to the Institute's CEO, Dr. Marilyn Fraser, and Community Outreach Coordinator, Mr. Shawn Mitchell, respectively. These awards were presented in recognition of the Institute's community-based health promotion activities to raise awareness and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
The recognition from Triumphant Tabernacle of Seventh‑Day Adventists of the Institute’s work in the community is clearly a proud moment.
